Oil and Lube Tech

Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a dedicated Lube and Oil Technician to join our team at May Machinery. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting various tasks within the company, contributing to the overall operations and maintenance of rental and customer heavy equipment. This position offers a unique opportunity to travel to different locations within Arizona.

Responsibilities:

• Grease machines regularly for rental and customer equipment.

• Ensure fluid levels in machines are at the proper level.

• Check for leaks or any abnormalities on machines.

• Create and maintain good customer relations, ensuring excellent customer support.

• Restock and fill all fluids and greases required for jobs prior.

• Change filters and service equipment when Preventive Maintenance Service (PMS) is required.

• Pull oil and fluid samples for testing.

Skills:

• Basic mechanical understanding and knowledge of the locations of fill ports, filters, and drain plugs on machines.

• Ability to use hand tools and perform basic maintenance tasks.

• Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to work hard and learn.

• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and organization.

• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

• Passion for heavy equipment and diesel engines, with a desire to grow and develop within the industry.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Previous experience in the heavy equipment industry.

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred.

• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment (at least 50 lbs).
